Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a lashing winch, for flatbed trucks and trailers. This lashing winch can be used on a flatbed truck or trailer, to secure a strap over your load. So to secure a tie-down strap, over your load.It works with winch straps, up to 4" wide. It does require a winch tightening bar for operation. And it does feature a nice low profile design, which allows for placement into tight spaces. It's a weld-on installation, the winch base welds onto the outside of your truck or trailer frame.

And we're looking at a nice, durable, steel construction, with a black powder coated finish on it, to help it resist rust and corrosion, and last a long time. This unit does meet, or exceed, Department of Transportation requirements, and WSTDA specifications. It's a really nice design, very easy to use, you'll see the ratcheting gear over here, it has the lever in there, so that way you can easily disengage tension, when you're ready.Now when it comes to the overall dimensions of the unit, the overall length . I took a measurement from outer edge, to outer edge, and that gives us a measurement of around 8". I also took a measurement from the very front of the unit, to the very back of the unit, and that gives us a measurement of about 4-1/4".

And the overall height, from bottom to top, that gives us a measurement of about 4-1/2" tall. The mounting base itself, which is this portion here, edge to edge, measures 5-1/2" wide. And then going this direction, that measures about 4".This unit features a capacity of 6,000 pounds. The mandrel diameter, which is this right here, that's 1-15/16". And in the winch bar opening ...
